2008 BORDERFEST SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES
(Entry Forms and Ballot Box located at participating HEB stores of the Rio Grande Valley)
1. HOW TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
On an official entry form or a piece of 3" x 5" paper, print your name, date of birth, telephone number, and complete mailing address. No mechanically reproduced entries accepted. Sweepstakes begins on 2/13/08. Deposit entry in the receptacle provided of participating store no later than 2/24/08, when the sweepstakes ends. Kraft Foods Global, Inc., Colgate-Palmolive ("Sponsors") are not responsible for lost, late or misdirected mail or entries not forwarded to prize headquarters in time for random drawing.
2. ELIGIBILITY: Open to residents of Texas, 18 years of age and older as of February 13, 2008 except employees of Sponsor, HEB Grocery Company LP, their affiliates, subsidiaries, agencies, persons living in the same household, and the families of each. Void where prohibited. All federal, state and local laws apply.
3. DRAWING: A random drawing will be held on or about 2/25/08 by Hernandez Events, Inc. in Hidalgo, TX. Potential winners must sign any required Affidavit and Liability and Publicity Release within 5 days of attempted delivery or prize will be forfeited and an alternate selected. Winners will be notified by phone approx. 2/25/08. No prize transfer or substitution of prize permitted, unless prize is generally unavailable, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be substituted. All taxes are the sole responsibility of winner. By entering sweepstakes, entrant accepts and agrees to these Official Rules and the decisions of Hernandez Events, Inc., which shall be final in all matters. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission of Sponsors and HEB to use winner's name and likeness for advertising/hade purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. By accepting prize, winner agrees to hold Sponsors, HEB Grocery Company LP, their respective affiliates, directory, officers, employees, agents and assigns, harmless against any and all claims and liability rinsing out of receipt and use of prize. Sponsors are not responsible for any typographical of other error in the printing, the offering or the announcement of any prize or in the administration of the promotion.
4. PRIZES: One (1) Grand Prize: today Trip for two (2) to China. Trip package includes round-trip coach air transportation from McAllen, Texas, hotel accommodations and limited meals. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): 5,000.00. Actual value will depend upon airfare and accommodations fluctuations. Guest must execute a liability and Publicity Release prior to booking tickets. Guest must be 18 or older, unless traveling with a parent or legal guardian, who must execute required documents on behalf of minor. Fifty-eight (58) First prizes (two per participating store): BorderFest Family Fun Pack consisting of four (4) four-day ticket to BorderFest, ARV $212 per 4-pack). Total prize value: $15,776.00. Limit one prize per family/household. Travel is subject to availability. Thirty (30) day advance reservations required and blockout periods may apply. Travel arrangements/accommodations and specific destinations at discretion of Sponsors. Prizes do not include any item not specifically listed. All prizes will be awarded. Taxes and all other expenses (including travel and accommodations) not specified in these rules are the responsibility of the winners. Odds of winning Grand Prize depends on number of entries received from among all participating H-E-B stores. Odds of winning BorderFest Family Fun Packs dependent on number of entries received from each participating H-E-B stores.
